Song of the Day: Sweet Love features the words and music of Louis A. Johnson, Gary Bias, and singer Anita Baker, on whose 1986 breakout album, “Rapture“, this Grammy Award-winning song appeared. The song was the album’s first single, a staple on jazz-infused Quiet Storm radio, and Baker’s first big hit. Released as a single forty years ago this month, it is one of her signature tunes.
