Song of the Day: Thoroughly Modern Millie (“Thoroughly Modern Millie”), music by Jimmy Van Heusen, lyrics by Sammy Cahn, was first heard in the 1967 musical starring Julie Andrews. The film was adapted for Broadway and won the 2002 Tony Award for “Best Musical”. Sutton Foster won the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical.
