I went to see the Friday Night Coney Island Summer Fireworks last night. I’ve posted videos of the festivities in years past, including an Earthcam presentation with added Coney Island-themed music.
I couldn’t resist taking a pic of the Parachute Jump; it’s Brooklyn’s Eiffel Tower (and is the background for my profile pic). Typically, the structure is illuminated by 8000 programmable LED lights. But last night, in preparation for the fireworks, it was quiet at sundown.
