Song of the Day: Go New York, Go New York, Go, words and music by Jessie Itzler and Dana Mozie, has been the theme song of the New York Knicks since 1993. We’ll be hearing lots of it today as the 2026 NBA Champs make their way down New York’s “Canyon of Heroes” in a parade honoring their first title in 53 years. Despite winning the title in 1970 and 1973, this is the first time the team will be honored in such grand fashion. Having won the hearts of New Yorkers, they’ll travel up Broadway to City Hall and receive ‘Keys to the City’ from the Mayor. This track has had countless variations.
