Song of the Day: You Are the Sunshine of My Life, words and music by Stevie Wonder, appears on the artist’s 1972 album, “Talking Book“. This song earned Stevie a Grammy for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. It went to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the Easy Listening (Adult Contemporary) chart and was later inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. On this date in 1950, the great Stevie Wonder was born.
