The song appears on Bruno’s #1 Billboard Hot 200 album, “The Romantic“, which was released on February 27, 2026. I’ve been listening to this set, Bruno’s fourth solo studio album (and fifth overall), and enjoying every minute of it. Some critics have complained that his ‘retro’ approach is getting ‘tired’. But this is who Bruno Mars is. He channels earlier influences, from Michael Jackson and Prince to Curtis Mayfield and Santana. If this be treason, make the most of it. The album showcases the artist’s soulful vocal gifts and extraordinary talent on every track. Having seen him in concert at the Barclays Center in 2018, I think he’s even more musical and charismatic in person than on his recordings.
