Fraites also composed the underscore to “Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere” (2025). This 2025 dystopian thriller is based on a 1979 Stephen King novel (written by the author under the pen name Richard Bachman), which first explored the now-familiar “Squid Game” theme of the deadly survival contest for money. The composer’s somber, minimalist approach, which utilizes piano, synths, and pizzicato strings, provides a pulsing backdrop to the graphic brutality that unfolds on screen.
