Song of the Day: Conclave (“Postlude of Conclave”) [YouTube link], composed by Volker Bertelmann, provides a glimmer of hope in a soundtrack that often magnifies the anxiety, fear, and suspense in this 2024 political thriller about the selection of a new Pope. Based on the 2016 Robert Harris novel, the film sports an all-star cast that delivers wonderful performances. The Oscar-nominated score is one of the film’s highlights.
