Song of the Day: Queer (“Pure Love”) [YouTube link], composed by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, is a poignant cue from this 2024 film that stars Daniel Craig. It is based on a 1985 novella written by William S. Burroughs. Reznor and Ross of Nine Inch Nails have carved out a remarkable career as film score composers, having already won two Oscars for Best Original Score.
