Song of the Day: Sabrina (“Moonlight”) features the lyrics of Alan and Marilyn Bergman and the music of birthday boy John Williams, who turns 93 today. It is performed by Sting in this 1995 Sydney Pollock-directed film. The film, starring Julia Ormond in the title role and Harrison Ford and Greg Kinnear, is a remake of the 1954 Billy Wilder film (which was based on the 1953 play, “Sabrina Fair“). Williams received Oscar nominations for Best Original Musical or Comedy Score and for Best Original Song for “Moonlight“.
