There’s a lot going on right now in my life, and I’ve had little time to write about the ongoing 2024 presidential campaign. For what it’s worth, like most others, I suspect the election will be close, even if the tip of a few swing states might provide the winner with an impressive Electoral College victory. Back on July 15, before Biden dropped out of the race, I stated that it was Trump’s election to lose. So much has happened since then, but a part of me still thinks Trump has the edge. No point in debating that issue; we’ll find out in the wake of November 5.

That said, I’ve been enjoying a lot of the election-oriented “Pearls Before Swine” comics coming from Stephan Pastis, which reflect some of my own attitudes about this nightmare election cycle.
