Song of the Day: Heat Wave, composed by the Holland-Dozier-Holland songwriting team of Motown, was a huge Top 5 hit in 1963 for Martha and the Vandellas. Twelve years later, it went into the Top 5 again with a Linda Ronstadt reboot. Nothing like a Heat Wave to bring in the Dog Days of August!
