Song of the Day: That Sunday, That Summer, words and music by Joe Sherman and George David Weiss, was first recorded by Nat King Cole for his 1963 album, “Those Lazy-Hazy-Crazy Days of Summer,” whose title track was featured on Friday, July 23. This swing ballad has been recorded by so many artists. Check out Cole’s wonderful rendition and also a version by the great Dinah Washington [YouTube links].
